Canva Code is Canva’s AI coding tool for turning plain-language prompts into interactive websites, apps, and experiences that can then be edited visually — dragging in images from Canva’s library, swapping colors and fonts through the normal toolbar, or clicking directly into an element to retype text — rather than re-prompting or hand-editing raw code. Outputs can start from a blank prompt, one of 50+ new interactive templates, or imported HTML brought over from another AI coding tool.
With the Code 2.0 update, Canva made the tool available to every account tier, including free users, and says it cut average code-generation time by 75% and the median time from prompt to published site by 30%. Since Canva Code first launched roughly a year ago, the company says its community has used it to build more than six million sites.
